Nagasaki atomic bomb survivor Shigemi Fukahori dies
- Shigemi Fukahori, a survivor of the 1945 atomic bombing of Nagasaki, died on January 3, 2025 at the age of 93.
- Fukahori was 14 years old when the atomic bomb was dropped on Nagasaki on 9 August 1945.
- He dedicated his life to campaigning against nuclear weapons and promoting peace.
नागासाकी परमाणु बम से बचने वाले शिगेमी फुकाहोरी का निधन
- 1945 में नागासाकी परमाणु बमबारी में जीवित बचे शिगेमी फुकाहोरी का 93 वर्ष की आयु में 3 जनवरी, 2025 को निधन हो गया।
- 9 अगस्त 1945 को जब नागासाकी पर परमाणु बम गिराया गया तब फुकाहोरी 14 साल के थे।
- उन्होंने अपना जीवन परमाणु हथियारों के खिलाफ अभियान चलाने और शांति को बढ़ावा देने के लिए समर्पित कर दिया।

Madhya Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh focus on drone technology
- Madhya Pradesh: CM Mohan Yadav inaugurated a drone training centre in Indore, emphasising collaboration with IIT Bhopal to promote drone usage among women, youth and farmers.
- Himachal Pradesh: Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced ₹800 crore for drone stations to modernise disaster management to ensure quick emergency response amid climate challenges.

- मध्य प्रदेशः सीएम मोहन यादव ने इंदौर में एक ड्रोन प्रशिक्षण केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया, जिसमें महिलाओं, युवाओं और किसानों के बीच ड्रोन के उपयोग को बढ़ाने के लिए आईआईटी भोपाल के साथ सहयोग पर जोर दिया गया।
- हिमाचल प्रदेशः मुख्यमंत्री सुखविंदर सिंह सुक्खू ने जलवायु चुनौतियों के बीच त्वरित आपातकालीन प्रतिक्रिया सुनिश्चित करने के लिए आपदा प्रबंधन को आधुनिक बनाने के लिए ड्रोन स्टेशनों के लिए ₹800 करोड़ की घोषणा की।

- Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi inaugurated the 11-day famous tribal fair and launched the Shaheed Madho Singh Hath Kharcha Yojana.
- Under this initiative, 2 lakh tribal students will be provided one-time annual assistance of Rs 5,000.
- A budget of Rs 156 crore has been allocated for this scheme.

- इस पहल के तहत 2 लाख आदिवासी छात्रों को 5000 रुपये की एकमुश्त वार्षिक सहायता प्रदान की जाएगी।
- इस योजना के लिए 156 करोड़ रुपये का बजट आवंटित किया गया है।

- President Daniel Noboa declared a 60-day state of emergency in seven provinces, including Guayas and Manabi, citing rising crime and organized armed groups.
- Emergency measures include the suspension of domestic and correspondence violence and a night curfew in 20 cantons.
- Ecuador continues to wage an internal armed conflict against criminal groups it calls terrorists.

PM Modi laid the foundation stone of Ayurveda Research Institute
- Prime Minister Modi laid the foundation stone of the new Central Ayurveda Research Institute building at Rohini, New Delhi.
- The new state-of-the-art building will be constructed at a cost of approximately Rs 185 crore.
- Central Ayurveda Research Institute was established in 1979.
- Spread over 2.92 acres, the new facility will have a 100-bed research hospital dedicated to advancing Ayurveda research.
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान की नींव रखी
- प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने नई दिल्ली के रोहिणी में नए केंद्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान भवन की आधारशिला रखी।
- नए अत्याधुनिक भवन का निर्माण करीब 185 करोड़ रुपये में होगा।
- केंद्रीय आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान संस्थान की स्थापना 1979 में हुई थी।
- 2.92 एकड़ में फैली नई सुविधा में आयुर्वेद अनुसंधान को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए समर्पित 100 बिस्तरों वाला अनुसंधान अस्पताल होगा।
