ISRO’s Aditya-L1 completes first halo orbit around Sun-Earth L1 point
- India’s Aditya-L1 spacecraft, part of ISRO’s first solar mission, has successfully completed its initial halo orbit around the Sun-Earth L1 Lagrangian point.
- This maneuver validates the advanced flight dynamics software developed by URSC-ISRO and demonstrates accurate trajectory modeling and precise orbit maintenance capabilities for the Aditya-L1 mission.

Indian Finance Commission
- Established under Article 280 of the Indian Constitution.
- Constituted by the President every 5 years or at such time as he considers necessary.
- Recommends distribution of net tax income between the Center and the States.
- Determines allocation among states.
- Proposes principles for grants-in-aid to the States from the Consolidated Fund of India. (Article 275)
- The recommendations are advisory in nature.

IAF chief inaugurates weapon systems school in Begumpet, Hyderabad
- This new school will have 4 branches:
- The flying stream will operate weapons and systems on air platforms such as the Sukhoi-30 MKI and C-130J.
- The remote stream will operate remotely piloted aircraft.
- Mission commanders and operators for surface-to-air and surface-to-surface weapon systems.
- Intelligence stream to handle space-based intelligence and imagery.

India-Mongolia military exercise ‘Nomadic Elephant’ begins in Meghalaya
- The 16th edition of the joint military exercise ‘Nomadic Elephant’ between the armies of India and Mongolia began in Umroi, Meghalaya.
- The 15th edition of this exercise was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
- The exercise aims to enhance interoperability between the two armies in conducting semi-conventional operations in semi-urban/hilly terrain.

- इस अभ्यास का 15वां संस्करण मंगोलिया के उलानबटार में आयोजित किया गया।
- इस अभ्यास का उद्देश्य अर्ध-शहरी/ पहाड़ी इलाकों में अर्ध-पारंपरिक संचालन करने में दोनों सेनाओं के बीच अंतर-संचालन को बढ़ाना है।

Air India to set up South Asia’s largest flight training organization
- Tata Group’s Air India is setting up South Asia’s largest Flying Training Organization (FTO) at Belora Airport in Amravati, which has a license from DGCA and will be operational by 1QFY26.
- The FTO will have 31 single-engine and 3 twin-engine aircraft, with the aim of producing 180 commercial pilots annually.
- It will be established in collaboration with Maharashtra Airport Development Company.

- NIRMAN Portal is a CSR initiative by Coal India Limited to support meritorious UPSC aspirants from its operational districts.
- The scheme provides Rs 1 lakh to those who qualify the preliminary examination with annual family income less than Rs 8 lakh belonging to SC, ST, women or third gender categories.
- Full name of NIRMAN is Noble Initiative for Rewarding Main Aspirants of National Civil Services Examination i.e. Noble Initiative for Rewarding Main Aspirants of National Civil Services Examination.

SBI launches ‘MSME Sahaj’ for instant digital invoice financing
- State Bank of India unveiled ‘MSME Sahaj End to End Digital Invoice Financing’ to provide quick loan facilities to MSMEs through its YONO application.
- This web-based solution allows MSMEs to apply for loans up to ₹1 lakh, prepare documents and get disbursement within 15 minutes without any manual intervention.
- Aimed at GST-registered micro, small and medium enterprises, it provides short-term working capital.
