Sebi launches portal for MIIs to report technical glitches
- SEBI has launched iSPOT portal for Market Infrastructure Institutions (MIIs) like stock exchanges and clearing corporations to report technical glitches.
- From February 3, 2025, MIIs will have to submit reports through this portal, which will be integrated into the SEBI Intermediary Portal.
- The portal aims to improve data quality, traceability and streamline reporting of technical issues.

- सेबी ने तकनीकी गड़बड़ियों की रिपोर्ट करने के लिए स्टॉक एक्सचेंज और क्लियरिंग कॉरपोरेशन जैसे मार्केट इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर इंस्टीट्यूशंस (MII) के लिए iSPOT पोर्टल लॉन्च किया है।
- 3 फरवरी, 2025 से, MII को इस पोर्टल के माध्यम से रिपोर्ट जमा करनी होगी, जिसे सेबी इंटरमीडियरी पोर्टल में एकीकृत किया जाएगा।

Government approves mutual credit guarantee scheme for MSMEs
- The Government of India has approved the Mutual Credit Guarantee Scheme for MSMEs, which provides 60% guarantee coverage for loans up to Rs 100 crore for purchasing machinery and equipment.
- MSMEs having valid Udyam Registration Number are eligible with loan repayment terms.
- The scheme involves an upfront contribution of 5% and a flexible annual guaranteed fee structure for the first 4 years.

- A study found that about 20% of women and girls in South Asia abstain from regular daily activities during menstruation.
- Overall, 15% of women and girls in low- and middle-income countries avoid daily activities during menstruation, while in West and Central Africa the figure is 18.5%.
The study also found that girls aged 15-19 are most affected, with more than 17% of them limiting themselves to daily activities.
