CAG Murmu inaugurates historical museum at Chadwick House
- Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) G.C. Murmu inaugurated the first CAG Museum at Chadwick House, Shimla, marking 164 years of the institution’s establishment.
- Chadwick House, an important site where Mahatma Gandhi stayed during the 1946 Cabinet Mission, now displays the CAG’s audit heritage, including milestones and artefacts such as Chanakya’s Arthashastra and Sir CV Raman’s memorabilia Are.

Mindspace becomes first Indian REIT to issue sustainability-linked bonds
- Mindspace Business Parks REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) raised Rs 650 crore from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the first example of an Indian REIT issuing sustainability-linked bonds with a tenor of seven years.
- The bond aims to enhance sustainability and reduce greenhouse gas emissions, in line with India’s net-zero ambitions.

- माइंडस्पेस बिजनेस पार्क्स REIT (रियल एस्टेट इन्वेस्टमेंट ट्रस्ट) ने इंटरनेशनल फाइनेंस कॉरपोरेशन (IFC) से 650 करोड़ रुपये जुटाए, जो सात साल की अवधि के साथ स्थिरता से जुड़े बॉन्ड जारी करने वाले भारतीय REIT का पहला उदाहरण है।
- बॉन्ड का उद्देश्य स्थिरता को बढ़ाना और हरितगृह गैस उत्सर्जन को कम करना है, जो भारत की शुद्ध-शून्य महत्वाकांक्षाओं के अनुरूप है।
Workshop CARING-2024 on Coal Gasification organized by CSIR-CIMFR
- Central Institute of Mining and Fuel Research (CSIR-CIMFR) organized a two-day workshop, CARING-2024, to deliberate on coal gasification challenges and opportunities, which was attended by industry leaders, researchers and policy makers.
- It emphasized the commitment of the Government of India to allocate Rs 8500 crore for gasification projects, with the aim of achieving 100 MT coal gasification by 2030 Is.

- केंद्रीय खनन एवं ईंधन अनुसंधान संस्थान (CSIR-CIMFR) ने कोयला गैसीकरण चुनौतियों और अवसरों पर विचार-विमर्श के लिए दो दिवसीय कार्यशाला, CARING-2024 का आयोजन किया, जिसमें उद्योग जगत के नेताओं, शोधकर्ताओं और नीति निर्माताओं ने भाग लिया।
- इसमें भारत सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता पर जोर दिया गया, जिसमें गैसीकरण परियोजनाओं के लिए 8500 करोड़ रुपये आवंटित किए गए, जिसका लक्ष्य 2030 तक 100 मीट्रिक टन कोयला गैसीकरण हासिल करना है।
UP cabinet approves Tata Sons’ Rs 650 crore temple museum in Ayodhya
- The Tourism Department will provide land for this project at Re 1 on a 90-year lease.
- Funded through Tata Sons’ corporate social responsibility initiative, the museum will showcase the history and architecture of India’s famous temple.
- The Cabinet has also approved Tata Sons’ proposal for an additional ₹100 crore for development works in Ayodhya, which will enhance the infrastructure of the city.

Genome sequencing laboratory with NGS facilities inaugurated at AFMC Pune
- Lt Gen Daljit Singh inaugurated the Genome Sequencing Lab at AFMC Pune, equipped with advanced NGS facilities like ‘NextSeq’ and ‘Miniseq’ analyzers, enhancing the medical capabilities of the armed forces.
- NGS technology in the lab will help in the diagnosis of hereditary diseases, oncology, transplant medicine and reproductive medicine, providing accurate diagnosis etc.
