Nepal: First Khairmah Honey Festival 2081 concludes in Sauraha
- Six varieties of honey were showcased at Nepal’s First Honey Festival in Sauraha in Bagmati Province, promoting beekeeping and income of local farmers.
- The types of honey included mustard, litchi, mahua, eucalyptus and moringa juice, which varied in consistency and aroma.
- Sponsored by the Government of Nepal, the festival promoted marketing of honey and awareness about biodiversity.

WhatsApp Pay gets full UPI access in India

- Earlier, WhatsApp Pay’s UPI expansion was limited and phased.
- This move has enabled WhatsApp Pay to provide seamless UPI services to all its users across the country.

RBI makes free beneficiary name verification mandatory for RTGS/NEFT
- RBI has directed banks to implement beneficiary account name lookup for Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) and National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) transactions by April 1, 2025, to ensure free access for customers.
- This facility will be accessible through Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and branches, thereby improving security of transactions.
- UPI and IMPS already provide this name verification feature.
