Ramki Infrastructure receives FICCI’s ‘Smart Urban Innovation’ award
- Ramki Infrastructure Limited received the FICCI Smart Urban Innovation Award 2024 in the Sustainable Cities category for their effective leachate treatment project in Jawahar Nagar, Hyderabad.
- The project successfully treated legacy leachate, a harmful byproduct of waste, using a 2000 KLD treatment plant, which also included restoration of a nearby pond.

NCISM celebrated its 4th Foundation Day with ‘Pledge’ Conference
- National Commission for Indian Systems of Medicine celebrated its fourth Foundation Day by hosting ‘PRAN’ conference in collaboration with AICTE and Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education.
- The conference explored innovations in the Indian System of Medicine (ISM) that are patentable, commercializable and suitable for technology transfer, which can potentially give rise to startups.

Indian Army commemorates Kargil victory with D5 ride
- Indian Army has launched ‘D5’ motorcycle operation to commemorate 25 years of victory in the Kargil war.
- Three teams from Dinjan, Dwarka and Dhanushkodi will travel across India, meeting war heroes, veterans and memorial sites and culminate in Delhi.
- The objective of the yatra is to promote national unity, inspire to join the army, honor the sacrifice of the heroes of Kargil war, and will culminate at Gun Hill in Dras.
