Kerala High Court considering contempt action against Advocate Nedumpura
- Kerala High Court considers contempt proceedings against advocate Nedumpura for circulating court clippings on WhatsApp.
- The Kerala High Court has held that lawyers being allowed to access court proceedings through video conferencing does not mean that they can record and broadcast the court proceedings.
- The bench said that such action prima facie amounts to contempt of court.
केरल हाईकोर्ट एडवोकेट नेदुमपुरा के खिलाफ अवमानना कार्रवाई पर विचार कर रहा है
- केरल उच्च न्यायालय ने व्हाट्सएप पर अदालती क्लिपिंग प्रसारित करने के लिए अधिवक्ता नेदुमपुरा के खिलाफ अवमानना कार्रवाई पर विचार किया।
- केरल उच्च न्यायालय ने माना है कि वकीलों को वीडियो कॉन्फ्रेंसिंग के माध्यम से अदालत की कार्यवाही में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति दिए जाने का मतलब यह नहीं है कि वे अदालती कार्यवाही को रिकॉर्ड कर सकते हैं और प्रसारित कर सकते हैं।
- पीठ ने कहा कि इस तरह की कार्रवाई प्रथम दृष्टया अदालत की अवमानना है।
Indian pharmaceutical exports rank 11th globally
- According to secondary market research analysis published by Bain & Company in the year 2025, Indian pharmaceutical exports will rank 11th globally in terms of value in the year 2023 and will account for 3% of total pharmaceutical exports.
- The Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 was amended in 2008 to provide for stringent penalties for manufacturing of spurious and adulterated drugs.
भारतीय दवा निर्यात विश्व स्तर पर 11वें स्थान पर
- वर्ष 2025 में बेन एंड कंपनी द्वारा प्रकाशित द्वितीयक बाजार अनुसंधान विश्लेषण के अनुसार, वर्ष 2023 में मूल्य के संदर्भ में भारतीय दवा निर्यात वैश्विक स्तर पर 11वें स्थान पर होगा और कुल दवा निर्यात का 3% हिस्सा होगा।
- नकली और मिलावटी दवाओं के निर्माण के लिए कड़े दंड का प्रावधान करने के लिए औषधि और प्रसाधन सामग्री अधिनियम, 1940 को 2008 में संशोधित किया गया था।
Airtel announces deal with SpaceX
- Airtel announced a deal with SpaceX to bring Starlink’s high-speed internet services to its customers in India.
- This is the first agreement to be signed in India, following SpaceX obtaining its own authorization to sell Starlink in India.
- This enables Airtel and SpaceX to explore how Starlink can complement and expand Airtel’s offerings.

Indian team develops double-security ink to prevent counterfeiting
- Scientists from the Institute of Nano Science and Technology and Bhabha Atomic Research Centre have created a new security ink using strontium bismuth fluoride (Sr2BiF7) nanoparticles.
- Currently available fluorescent inks are visible only under ultraviolet light or infrared light, but not both; the new ink looks different because it fluoresces in both.

- नैनो विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान और भाभा परमाणु अनुसंधान केंद्र के वैज्ञानिकों ने स्ट्रोंटियम बिस्मथ फ्लोराइड (Sr2BiF7) नैनोकणों का उपयोग करके एक नई सुरक्षा स्याही बनाई है।
- वर्तमान में उपलब्ध फ्लोरोसेंट स्याही केवल पराबैंगनी प्रकाश या अवरक्त प्रकाश के तहत दिखाई देती है, लेकिन दोनों में नहीं, नई स्याही अलग दिखती है क्योंकि यह दोनों में फ्लोरोसेंट होती है।

DoP signs MoU with FSID
- Department of Posts has signed MoU with Foundation for Science Innovation and Development (FSID) of Indian Institute of Science (IISc) for documenting technology architecture for Digital Address DPI.
- The Department of Posts has launched an initiative called “Digital Address Code” with the aim of establishing a digital public infrastructure for a standardized, geo-coded addressing system in India.

- डाक विभाग ने डिजिटल एड्रेस DPI के लिए प्रौद्योगिकी वास्तुकला के दस्तावेजीकरण के लिए भारतीय विज्ञान संस्थान (IISC) के विज्ञान नवाचार और विकास फाउंडेशन (FSID) के साथ समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

Varanasi: State-of-the-art Multi-Modal Logistics Park
- An important Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML) and the Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI).
- The objective of this MoU is to develop a state-of-the-art Multi-Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
- The 150-acre park is strategically connected to NH7 through a 650 m long approach road and is just 1.5 km away from the NH7-NH2 junction.

- राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग रसद प्रबंधन लिमिटेड (NHLML) और भारतीय अंतर्देशीय जलमार्ग प्राधिकरण (IWAI) के बीच एक महत्वपूर्ण समझौता ज्ञापन (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।
- इस समझौता ज्ञापन का उद्देश्य उत्तर प्रदेश के वाराणसी में एक अत्याधुनिक मल्टी-मॉडल लॉजिस्टिक्स पार्क (MMLP) विकसित करना है।

- Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the first Indian to receive Mauritius’ highest civilian honour, the Grand Commander of the Order of the Star and Key of the Indian Ocean.
- This honour also adds to PM Modi’s growing list of international achievements, making it his 21st such honour.
